Navigate from Page to Page
Same as other web application you can easily move from one page to another page in RDC Onsite. In this post I will show navigation from one page to another in RDC Onsite. Well navigation in RDC onsite is depend upon your current task and your preference for how to work. Same as other, each feature and function or each navigation method has it’s own advantages. If you want to navigate from one page to another then you can select below options:
- Click on page main tabs
- Click page links located bottom of page
- Use of breadcrumb
- Use of Activities link
How to use page tabs for navigation
If you want to navigate or want to move to other page then you can use page tabs in RDC Onsite. All tabs are directly linked and provide direct access to a page. One more thing, you can check links located on bottom of each page, there are four links that correspond to each page tabs. You can either click on page tabs or click on links located on bottom of each page.
Main function of RDC Onsite during page navigation is to reset the search criteria to the default values. Every time when you navigate to a page with the help of page tabs or page links, RDC Onsite always resets the search criteria to the default values and show page in its default state. Check below examples:
- Whenever you click the Home tab, RDC Onsite open Home page and show patient related data and reset the search criteria to search data related to patient and patient related other tasks.
- When you click the Casebooks tab, RDC Onsite opens the Casebooks page, and again reset the search criteria. This time not displaying any patient data and reset search criteria to the default values with expansion of search pane. If you want to change the search criteria as per your requirement then you can click Go to retrieve and show the patient data.
Remember one thing, always navigate or return to a page when you save or finished your current task and ready for another task present in other page. With the help of page tabs you can easily navigate to Casebooks and Review pages if you either have a preference for using particular page or make frequent use of search functions.
